2008 Crop was Alfalfa
No pre-emergence herbicide was applied prior to planting.  Rangelander alfalfa was planted with a JD 1590 no-till drill at  4.79 lbs./acre .5" deep on April 5, 2008 with 50 pounds per acre of 11-52-0 fertilizer with the seed.  The alfalfa was sprayed with 4 ounces/acre of Broclean (Buctryl) on June 21, 2008.  Due to poor stand establishment and dry conditions, 15 pounds/acre of German millet and 4.8 pounds/acre of alfalfa were planted with a JD 1590 no-till drill .5" deep on June 27, 2008.  The field was not harvested or mowed in 2008.
