2009 Crop was Alfalfa-Sweetclover-Turnip
Sprayed 24 ounces/acre of Glystar+ with
Flame and Actimaster on May 6, 2009. Planted 5.5 lbs./ac. alfalfa, .4
lbs./ac. sweet clover, .5 lbs./ac. turnip on May 7, 2009 with JD 1590 no-till
drill .5" deep. Fertilized with 60 lbs./ac. 7-25-15-6-4 microessentials,
50 lbs./ac. 0-0-60 and 1 lb./ac. Boron. No post emergent herbicide was
applied. Yield was 1.47 tons/acre from cutting taken on July 20, 2009.

Sprayed 22oz. glyphosate, 17
pounds/100gallons AMS and 1 quart/100 gallons Flame on June 2, 2008.
Planted .4 lb/ac. sunflower, .8 lb./ac. radish, .8 lb./ac. turnip, 6.0 lb./ac.
cowpea, 4.8 lb./ac. buckwheat, .3 lb./ac. sweet clover, .8 lb./ac. red clover,
4.5 lb./ac. soybean, 2.0 lb./ac. sudan grass, 2.0 lb./ac. millet on June 8, 2008
(18 lb./ac.) with a JD 1590 no-till drill 1" deep. Fertilized with 50
pounds of 11-52-0 (5.5 pounds/acre actual N). Cover crop was left standing
un-harvested over winter of 2008 - 2009.
